I actually purchased this for my girlfriend, who suffers from severe depression and is on two different medications for sleep. She reported being more alert in the mornings, which was improvement from here drowsiness created from one of the medications she takes

Well, holy basil did calm me down at first. I was able to fall asleep more easily at night and worried about things beyond my control less during the day. For a while, I was much calmer.

But, I guess it was a placebo effect or something, because it stopped working after a few weeks. Give it some time before you buy a boatload, if you know what I mean.

I’ve been taking New Chapter Holy Basil for four months now. I noticed a calming effect almost immediately. My days and nights were easier, less stressful. Easy to swallow. Hexane-Free Softgel Capsules. Only need to take once a day. Large bottle lasts longer.

Cons:

Have to take on a full stomach. Seems to lower estrogen so you may need to supplement.
