I bought Alli after talking to my doctor about various over the counter weight loss aids. He told me that this was originally a prescription medicine and that it would work in keeping my body from absorbing fat. I have to say, he was right! What fat my failed attempts at willpower did allow to enter my body, Alli escorted right back out. Unfortunately, it was in the form of cramps and gassy diarrhea! I can't say this product actually helped me lose any weight because I only took it for one week. If anything, the willpower it forces you to have is going to make you lose weight, and you probably would do just as well without it.

I tried this product as well when it first came out. Along with everyone else I experienced the side effects. Worst being going to the bathroom all the time and gas. The pills did help me lose some weight, however, I agree that the side effects are not worth it. I recommend trying a more natural way to lose weight.

this product just makes you go to the bathroom. as far as weight loss, not so much. yeah, if you follow the weight loss plan to the "t" i guess you'd lose weight but, lets face it, if we could do that we wouldn't need alli

It works really well, but the overwhelming side effects make it much better to just go with diet and excersize. Or even a different diet pill.

Pros:

Works well, weight does go down.

Cons:

Bad side effects. Nausea, diarrhea, nightmares, stomach cramps.

I would not recommend this product to anyone. Although the results are good, you are better off dieting and exercising than taking this product for weight loss

Pros:

It really melts off the pounds easily and quickly

Cons:

The overly bad side effects of this product is what makes the rating so low. You will get diarrhea, cramps and an overall bad feeling.
