These were okay for a while. I took for a few month and they only had an effect for the first month or so. After that I didn't notice anything different from not taking them. It just became a waste of money.

Helped the first pill or two but might have been a placebo effect. After that everything was back as it was which wasn't so good.

Before going to the doctor for my depression, I decided to try some natural remedies. This was on the top of my list, but it did not help me at all. I took it for about 3 months with no results, and I was open to it working and very hopeful. I would not suggest this to anyone based on my own experiences.

We tried St. John's Wort in our home with a typical teenager dealing with the blues. We failed to see any improvement even though we encouraged her to stay on it for a full month. Finally gave up and switched her to Holy Basil. World of difference! Holy Basil did what St. John's Wort claims to do.
