I am insulin dependant. Some times when i use the sliding scale to inject myself i get it wrong. Especially when i am active later that day. This glutose helps keep my blood sugar from going too low. If you have ever had that happen, its a feeling that is pretty scary. In the past i have ate candy or drank juice but my sugar went up too far after that. This glutose seems to level it out better. I dont get that sugar high from it. It is much easier to control. For years i didnt know they had anything like this. Now always have it with me. If you are a diabetic its a good idea to have this with you or know where you can get it from.

Pros:
When you have low blood sugar it works perfectly to raise it. The alternative of eating candy or drinking juice is far worse. It has 80 calories and no fat, so it will keep with in your daily intake.
Cons:
Nothing really. The only thing I can pick on is that it is pricey. 3 vials for 11 dollars |
