Hi friends, every one of us is familiar with this say "health is a wealth", but forget about it in our day to day busy schedule. Due to our life style and stress generating activities we carry out , we are more prone to health hazards especially heart related ones. As per the available statistical data published by World Health Organization, major concern is about heart related deceases. And the silent assassin is Cholesterol in most of the heart deceases. Most of the meats are source of bad cholesterol but fishes are the source of HDL (good cholesterol) . Fish Oil Omega 3 is the right and most effective medicine to put an end to our concern about high cholesterol level in the blood. We can reduce bad cholesterol level in the blood by continuous consumption of Fish Oil Omega 3 and also to increase the good cholesterol which is very important to maintain a healthy life.Since it is extracted from the fish it is almost natural and does not produce any side effect.

I used these tablets during pregnancy as a source of DHA and my husband took them to help with his cholesterol problem. I found they helped with our health. My husband was able to lower his cholesterol and got a little healthier by following a better diet and supplementing with fish oil omega 3's. We both noticed a strong fishy aftertaste but it did not last long.

Date Purchased: April 2006
Price Paid: $8

Pros:
There are multiple uses for this product and very effective.

Cons:
The fishy aftertaste can be quite strong.

I tend to agree that since taking I have noticed that my general health seems to be great. As far as the bad taste goes, I have not noticed that if I take too long to swallow the pill I will get the bad taste. I take several different pills a day, and start off by taking this one. Swallowed first, taking the rest gets rid of any bad taste in my mouth.

Pros:
Improved health

Cons:
Bad taste if take too long to swallow

Before becoming vegetarian, I used to take these on the advice of my doctor. I did not get a lot of seafood in my diet at the time because I am allergic to shellfish and never really liked fish that much. I took it to boost the good fats in my diet and it worked well. I agree with a previous poster that they did smell badly though.

Date Purchased: 05/05
Price Paid: $6
Recommend: No
Pros:
easy way to add good fats to your diet

Cons:
non-vegetarian and bad smell
