A Great Product with an Important Caveat

I have used and enjoy 5-HTP, however, it should be noted people taking antidepressants (esp. SSRIs) should avoid this product. If you, or someone in your biological family has bipolar or a similar mood disorder, try Holy Basil for mood regulation instead (with your doctor's approval of course). This product carries the possibility of creating mood cycles within those so afflicted. It will interfere with some psychotropic medicines. Use and enjoy but with caution in some instances.

5-HTP is AMAZING. I've had trouble sleeping due to anxiety all my life, and ran through the gamut of sleep aides. Nothing worked for me.

But when I tried 5-HTP, I was out like a light the very first night. And it's worked ever since. This is truly a miracle drug!

After a long summer of sleepless nights, finally i can get some sleep. I am taking the medicine for a month or two, my sleep cycle is back to normal, no headaches any more and now I can concentrate on my job. Also i handle stress easier, when working in the barracks, the harry and the planning of all activities, looks easier. Because i am focused on my goals.

Free of Sugar, No Preservatives, positively affect mood, helps to normalize seratonin activity.

Cons:

Take one capsules preferably on an empty stomach, may reduce appetite.
