Chelating out heavy metals is a very important part of heart health, however, EDTA is a risky way to achieve it. EDTA grabs minerals as well as heavy metals stripping your body of what it needs to repair itself. Your liver etc. must process the heavy metals it chelates risking toxicity issues. Instead of EDTA, check into Zeolite which accomplishes the same thing, faster, and without the negatives. DH also underwent EDTA chelation via IVs years ago. If we had the same choice to make over again, I would not have opted for EDTA.

Pros:
It does chelate out heavy metals helping your body return to a healthy balance.
Cons:
It strips the body of important minerals, unable to differentiate between metals and minerals. The metals must be processed by your liver etc. allowing possible further damage. It's expensive and not the best option on the market. |
